Wobbly Headed Bob
So then he wrote a book called "You're All Stupid: How to convince millions of ignorant people of your point of view." It sold over ten million copies. Now he has legions of followers whom are all convinced that they and they alone are the only intelligent people in the world and everyone else is stupid.

The irony of it all was, of course, that this changed out society in absolutely no way whatsoever, because that’s how it already was: Millions of ignorant people all firmly believed that they were the only intelligent people in the world (because they had all read the same book) and that everyone else was stupid. Any resemblance to this situation and every monotheistic religion in the world is probably not a coincidence.

Yet for all their superiority, none of these people could ever seem to rise to the top of the shitheap, and instead spent their days spewing their venom towards those more successful than themselves. This provided them some measure of comfort against the looming shadow of their own failed lives. It was simply an inversion of personal values, or at least the claiming of such, to make their failings a virtue and the prosperity of others into a vice. Yet this, too, was already well known as Nietzsche pointed it out long before, as well. So this, too, was passé.

So despite their “efforts” nothing really changed, except that now millions of “geniuses” went around making derogatory remarks about everyone else’s intelligence, and that no one appreciated the irony in which those remarked increased in escalation as the success (def: a byproduct of intelligence) of their targets increased. Though there were many fools, indeed, floating upon the top of the world, yet they all had an angle: Selling something, be it product or simply ideas, to an great number of even greater fools beneath them. Much like the author had done.
